Apply filter to part of note track

Maybe it's a newbie question, but...
let's say i have a note track with 5 seconds of notes.

Is there a way to apply a filter to the whole part of track?
like having a high pass from LFO start from 100% and go to 0?
or some more complex behavior ?

You can add a timeline automation for that. Just right-click on the filter-knob and choose "add automation". In the new timeline track you can change the value of that knob over time.
Another option is to click on the "record" button and make the changes by hand. Your input will be recorded as new track in the timeline.

It's a question about how to use the studio. I'd leave it here.
