I'm getting this error when trying to change my profile picture in preferences. The image I'm using is 1000x1000 pixels, and is only 1mb in size, so if that's not what's causing the problem, I have no idea what is.
Update: Does not do it will all image files. Resolution, and file size don't seem to affect it consistently.

I usually upload 512x512 files since that is what it usually downscales it to.
Yeah, I assume that's the sweet spot. It does work sometimes with higher res images though.
there is also a windows bug if you overwrite files it may not show the actual file size. happened to me when I was making videos. could also be that.
I got it to work, regardless.
