New to making music, how to mix a track?

I've heard and seen people 'mix' but I don't know how to do it myself. Or how to get the levels of each synth right. Or how to use a sub bass. Here's a track I made without me touching the centroid https://www.audiotool.com/track/0dtk7zh76g1/

Thanks in advanced

Unless your track is extremely simple, I'd recommend using the Centroid for mixing. The overview of the process is more or less as follows: Set the basic levels for all your channels, starting with your main instrument, which will typically be the loudest, and setting all the other levels in relation to it. This is sometimes called "balancing" your mix. Set the EQ for each channel. Usually you cut a frequency range to avoid clashes (masking) between different sounds, or boost a frequency range to enhance the character of certain sounds. You need to understand the frequency content of your sounds to know what frequency ranges are more useful for cuts and boosts. Set pan positions for each track. Usually louder, bassier or more important instruments go in the centre and higher, lighter and less important instruments go on the sides. These are the basics. To take your mix further, you'd add two more steps: set auxiliary (send/return) effects on your mix to give it character and ambience, typically reverb and/or delay, and automate your mix settings to enhance different sections of your track and the transitions between them. Mixing is a whole extensive field for which engineers usually spend years of study and practice, especially EQ, and this explanation is extremely simple. I recommend you to watch lots of example videos showing how the pros do it. You can start here: https://www.recordingrevolution.com/mix-a-song-from-scratch/
