I've never actually done a drop before,
But I did the progression with the drums and everything and the sweep, but my drop does not sound very... how do I say this?...

And I wanna learn how to do it myself!
And I'm having difficulties doing so..

More related to mixing.

So, basically, a drop comes directly after a buildup. The buildup creates tension - the drop releases it. Pretty simple. Ascending tones, increasing the speed of beat, as well as higher frequency passes can all add to the buildup. At the drop, try to release the tension at a single point - a drop out of everything for a small period can be used for this.

I know that this is an older forum, but I'm just trying to help!
