An audiotrack is a single channel device which allows you to add a library sample to your track. When you drag an audiotrack device to the desktop, a corresponding audio track is automatically created in the timeline. You can then drag a sample from the sample browser into the audiotrack's corresponding audio track in the timeline.
NOTE: It is possible to drag a loop straight from the sample browser to the desktop. An Audiotrack will then be automatically created and the sample added to the timeline.

Can you pan audio from left to right using the audiotrack?
Yes, use the knob.
What was the name of that audio track
how do you drag a sample to the timeline and keep it's bpm ,if the overall track's bpm is different?
i dont think it's possible
how do you use a sound on an audiotrack more than once? I do not see where you can copy and paste it to other locations on the track.
On the corresponding audio track on the timeline, you can drag the right edge of the audio region to loop the audio as many times as you need. You can also CTRL-click the audio region to create a copy, or Shift+CTRL-click to create a virtual copy.
wont play sounds please help!
what does it mean by there are no device available add another mixer soemone please help
You should probably deactivate the "Autoconnect" option in your preferences panel.
How do you even add notes?
The Audiotrack doesn't use notes, it's not a synth. It uses samples. Just drag them from the sample panel on the right into an audio track on your timeline.
how do you make a loop
Just drag the right border of an audio region on the timeline to the right. The audio will loop for the whole length of the region.
is it connected?
how do you add your own samples?
How do you connect it?
Just drag a sample from the sample panel on the right onto the desktop. An audiotrack device will be created automatically. You can also drag samples to the corresponding track in the timeline.
Just click the out arrow connector at the top and drag the mouse to an input audio connector somewhere else in your arrangement. A cable will be created.
i need to rap
can we only have like 1 sample only? i can only hear 1
You can play one sample per track in your timeline. Each track may contain different samples, but normally it makes sense to add a new device for each sample.
"You can play one sample per track in your timeline. Each track may contain different samples" Both statements contradict each other.
I rewrote this many times but I'm still struggling to express what I mean: "You can play one sample 'simultaneously' per track in your timeline. Each track may contain different samples" hopefully better :) Maybe you can help me to improve the wording. (it doesn't help that this device is called "AudioTrack" and that it can be controlled by "audio tracks")
Yes, I know what you mean :) Actually an AudioTrack device can have more than one audio track in the timeline and each one can have more than one sample. So you can in fact play more than one sample simultaneously from a single device (but one from a single timeline track, if that's what you meant) :)
I have two audiotracks,I can hear 1 but I cannot hear the second...and I plugged them both in how do you fix that
Never mind. I fixed it
How do you import an audiotrack to your project from your google drive?
You can't do it directly. First you have to upload your sound to the AT sample database through Probe. Then it will show up in the sample panel, where you can drag it to your desktop. But before you even do that you have to make sure that there are no copyright issues with the sound you want to upload.
how did you fix it?
my audio track is connected to the centroid but not playing sounds. other tracks connected to the same centroid are. how do i fix this?
did you make sure to add a sample?
Did you click the big red M? (don't.)
Is the level slider all the way up?
Does the silent audiotrack have an audio region on the timeline to play? Is the region or the track muted? Is the audiotrack device itself muted or its volume turned down?
haw can i use two or more line traks in one auditrack unit?
when i put the "donald trump make america great again" sample into the audiotrack it slows it down for some reason. i didnt use any effects, just audiotrack and master output. the sample itself was perfect. whats going on?? i want to make a dank trumpstep song (i just coined that XD)
wait! figured it out! bpm! yas!!! (also plz use the word "trumpstep" for me XD)
Chose "Create Audio Track" on the device's context menu. This will add another audio track to this device on the timeline.
how can i make my sample crescendo/ fade in?
You can right-click on the Level fader and add an automation track.
I don't think I'm able to add a timeline clip for the AudioTrack. I can drag it in to the desktop but I'm not able to add a timeline clip. What do I do?
If there's already an Audiotrack on the desktop, open the timeline view (Shift+2 or Shift+3) and drag a sample from the sample browser to the Audiotrack's audio track. If there's no audio track in the timeline, create one by right-clicking the Audiotrack on the desktop and choosing "Create Audio track".
How do i use my own recordings, again?
In the Studio, choose Project > Sample Upload > Upload Sample. The Probe sample editor will open in a new tab. Click Browse in the dialogue and open your recording. Then choose File > Upload.
how can I manually slow an audiotrack down? Cant really seem to figure out which effect or machine I'll have to use :( Many thanks :)
if you double-click the sample, towards the edges of the waves you'll see little square handles. Click and drag them to stretch the sample.
Alternatively, you can use the "Speed" effect on the Rasselbock.
Thank you.
I am trying to record a track that is vocals only. How do I do that?
Inside the Studio, choose Project > Sample Upload > Upload Sample... The Probe sample editor will open in a new tab. Choose Record in the dialogue box. Probe will use whatever audio input is configured in your system. After recording you can process your sample and upload it to the Audiotool sample database, where it will be available for your arrangement.
ls there a way to cut down sample shorter
Open the Audiotrack's audio track on the timeline and drag the right edge of the audio region to shorten it.
how do I add empty tracks to the timeline
Right-click your Audiotrack device on the desktop and choose "Create Audio Track" from the context menu.
can you record something straight onto a audio track without a sample ie: live playing of a guitar, vocals ect?
As far as I know, no, that's not possible.
That would explain a lot...
How to upload your own MP3 file?
Inside Studio, choose Project > Sample Upload > Upload Sample... Make sure you're not uploading any copyrighted material.
can i change the pitch of my sample or stretch the sample out?
Yes, if you stretch the sample, the pitch will change.
Is there a way to turn an AudioTrack into a preset for like a Heisenberg or something? I've sampled a single note but I want to be able to have more notes around that one note if that makes sense.
I think you're talking about pitching a sample chromatically. You can do that in a limited way with the Machiniste.
can you please make it so that you can pitch samples without putting the sample in the machiniste, putting it in the machiniste fine tunes the sample, which makes the sample "fade out" at the end. what im saying is that can you add a feature that changes the pitch of a sample without fine tuning it or altering the length
Pitch shifting would be the domain of a sampler which has been requested multiple times.
hi can you help me please ^^ I need to import an audio no copyright ;) but i don't know how can i do that. I have do that "Right-click your Audiotrack device on the desktop and choose "Create Audio Track" from the context menu." and i have create a sample on Probe but how can i import this sample :/
if you're inside Probe, choose File > Export > Audiotool Cloud...
when i upload a presets in the audio track the sample isn't showing even when i click create new audio track.
How can I just record myself playing guitar and singing with the audio tool?
Have a look here: https://www.audiotool.com/board/news/audio_live_recording-mf9vljxd8
do u know how to add remixe on the tool and create a music

You have to make sure it's wired correctly in order to function. Maybe it's plugged in wrong?
HOW do I add more than one song into probe, so I can create a remix
You don't remix in Probe. That's just a sample editor. You remix in the Studio.
how do I import a track
If you want to import a sample, choose Project > Sample Upload > Upload Sample. This will open Probe, AT's sample editor. Choose Browse on the dialogue and load your audio file. Then choose File > Upload in Probe to load the sample to your library. Close Probe, then click the Samples right panel and the My tab. Find your sample and drag it to the desktop. It will appear as an Audiotrack device and an audio region on your timeline.
Is there a way to shift the audio an octave down or something like that?
nope
not in the timeline, you can put in a machiniste and pitch down, but then when you do that, you negate any time stretching that you need
please help me. whenever i do what you've just described the track dosent play even though everything is plugged in and the volume is 100%. what shoould i do?
Check that the corresponding track in the timeline or the audio region inside it aren't muted and that your play head is not playing past the audio region.
i add a sample to it and i do everything but nothing shows up on the timeline help me plz
If your Audiotrack device is already on the desktop, make sure that the timeline is visible on your lower half of the interface and drag a sample from the sample library to the corresponding track in the timeline. it should show up.
thank you i figured it out it was just me being stupid lol
How do you loop? I'm VERY new to this...
Go to the timeline, find the audio region and drag the right edge further to the right as needed.
how do you take your own audio files and put them in?
First click here: https://www.audiotool.com/samples/toc/ and click the button at the bottom to accept AT's sample upload terms and conditions. Then choose Project > Sample Upload > Upload Sample in the Studio. This will open Probe, AT's sample editor in a new tab. Click Browse and select your audio. Here you can edit it if you want. Then choose File > Upload and fill in the details of your sample. Then click Upload. Your sample should be available on the sample panel under the tab My (my samples). From there you can drag it to the desktop or an audio track on the timeline. Important: Ensure that your audio doesn't infringe any copyrights. Read this for more info: https://www.audiotool.com/board/faq/can_i_upload_samples
como diminuir o volume somente no final da faixa, tipo como se fosse o final da musica?
The best method would be to automate the Level parameter, so that you can fade it anywhere you want.
i can't conact with adoure
really awesome
cool
show me the video cuz its kinda hard when yuu add things i gotta get use to audiotool
nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do I slow these down without slowing the whole track down.
You can use audio events. Docule-click an audio region in the timeline and double-click in the waveform to create points to adjust playback speed.
theres some really coolsounding synths in the sample area and when i drag them in i dont know how to ut them in piano roll. can u put an audio trackto a synth or the piano roll?
Hey there, I am new here. I browsed the page under "Popular" tracks. How can I download the tracks them. I intend to use them as background music for some of my videos. Thanks for the advice.
Please post in the right board and topic. This one is about the Audiotrack device.
im good
how do you change the pitch
You can use audio events. Double-click an audio region on the timeline to expand it and double-click somewhere on the waveform to create an audio event. Drag it around to change the pitch and playback speed of that segment.
how can i make a sound slower?
Double-click the audio region in the timeline and double-click on the waveform to create audio events (key-frames). Move them around to control the speed in any way you want.
how can you use an assest and put it on the audiotrack?
Just drag the asset from the sample panel into the audio track of the device in the timeline.
If I have two sounds on the timeline, I can only hear the sound that is on top. Is that supposed to happen, or am I doing something wrong?
that is supposed to happen i think.
Oh, okay
If you mean a single device with two audio tracks on the timeline and audio regions on each, you should hear both. Check that neither one of the regions or one of the audio tracks are muted.
how do i connect the wires to the synth
Click and drag from the arrow pointing out at the top to an arrow pointing in on another device. That will create a cable between both connectors.
how do i puts something in for the audio track
Drag a sample from the sample panel on the right to the Audiotrack's track in the timeline.
Can I change the Tempo of a specific Audiotrack?
i wanna kno that to
Yes, you can double-click the audio region in the timeline and drag the dots at each side to stretch/compress the audio.
How do i add stuff on it?
Follow the instructions above.
hi
wym
wsg
Ok I read the directions, But I am confused how too add the stuff on too it.
You drag a sample from the sample browser on the right into the audiotrack's corresponding audio track in the timeline.

Ty
How do I make my own samples?
use brain
kinda confused i just added another mixer and now when i connect audio tracks to the new one it isn't making any sound help
;-;
its so bad
Can't I upload files straight from my computer? Do I have to upload a sample to the audiotool cloud in order to use it in my projects?
Yes. Studio is an online DAW and all the assets used in tracks reside in AT's servers.
@jordynth But what if I want to mix one of my own song? I tried to upload the song as a sample but it won't allow music longer than 30 seconds. I love a lot of audio tool's features such as tempo automation but I need to be able to use it.
Audiotool isn't a website meant to upload music. More to make music from scratch. Samples are supposed to be simple loops or one shots used in the creation of a track, not whole songs. Consider Soundcloud to upload whole songs.
Correct!
YES BET YOU HAVE TO
Im wanting to remix a song but i don't know how to upload the vocals
Choose Project > Sample Upload > Upload Sample on the top bar menu. This will launch Probe, a sample editor where you can load and edit your sample. Be aware that samples can't be longer than 30 seconds. Also check this: https://www.audiotool.com/board/faq/which_audio_file_formats

Is it possible to upload a sample without it being accessible to everyone? I’m trying to add some vocals to a song I’m working on but I don’t want to make my lyrics/vocals public
Sure it is. Just leave the "Community: Visible to all users" checkbox unchecked before uploading the sample to AT.
how do I access all samples?
Click "SAMPLES" on the top right of the interface. This will show the sample panel.
@jordynth but how do a access user made samples
Choose Window > Preferences... on the top bar menu (or press Shift+P), click Samples on the right, click the Unsafe option and click Done. You should see all samples in the panel.
thank @jordynth
sut the fuck up
how do you loop a sound?
u twist it
fold it
skwees it
turn it
and bop it
Just drag the right edge of the audio region on the timeline. The audio inside will loop for the region"s length.
how do i upload?
at this site
https://probe.audiotool.com/
why is my audio so high pitched
Questions without any context are hard to answer. Please provide more details. What audio do you mean? Where is it coming from? What is your audio chain? Thanks.
Hi, I would like to know how to attach a wav song to make it part of my composition... before I could do it, I know there is a way... thanks for reminding me
As long as your WAV file doesn't infringe any copyrights, choose Project > Sample Upload > Upload Sample on the top menu bar and follow the instructions.
I can't hear my sound even though I have everything connected and I see the soundbar moving but I can't hear it
Please check the VU meters on the Stereo Output device. If they're not moving, something is either muted or disconnected on the way to it. If they move, the problem is outside the AT Studio, and you should check your audio settings, audio interface and monitors.
this is a softwear not phisical set ups... having to connect everything as if i have to plug it in is a waste of not only my time, but everyone elses... this idea was good...but not being able to enjoy making music on a computer, having to figure out if everything is connected and if your doing it right, is a full waste of time... especially when you have everything ready, as in a physical guitar, piano and lyrics, but this softwear cant do even as little as recording, which is what its supposed to do..... take it down or fix this.... it should be simple and its not... guess thats what i get for wanting a free thing...
record on https://www.audiotool.com/probe//
im just done with it at this point......................................
then leave................................................
How would you enjoy routing flexibility if there was nothing to connect? Audiotool is hardly the only DAW with skeuomorphic design. Good luck using Reason or VCV. Also, there's the auto-connect feature that does it for you.
thank you i can hear it
can't here it
Can you there it?
fuck you
:O
i can't hear it
My fault
did you plug it in XD?
Lmao
I honestly can't agree with ya ivy. That really is the fun. You slowly get better and better and you figure it out. You also can't request for a whole website to be taken down because you don't like skeuomorphic design on a daw.
the sound comes out weird and disoriented when i play it
is there any way to fix this?
it means the sound is clipping the output (in simple terms, its earrape). turn down the volume level.
yes
thanks
I can hear the samples but when I drag it over I can't hear anything? What should I do?
What is XD?
Connect its output to a mixer input connected to the Master Output device. If your Audiotrack device has a yellow lightning bolt icon underneath, it's not connected to the output.
I uploaded my voice as A sample, When I put the sample in, my voice is way deeper
same :(
