Sometimes several users have complained about "stuck" notifications in their feed they can't get rid of because the item (track/album/user) that generated it has changed or has been deleted. The new ability to edit board comments shows the lack of update of notifications, which display the unedited version.
I think that the system should keep track of the relationship between still active notifications and the items that generated them, and edit/delete those to reflect changes on the corresponding items.

Absolutely.
Sometimes there are strange mismatches with notifications that lead me to think that their implementation is a bit buggy. Example: I have now a series of notifications from "15 minutes ago" informing me that several of my samples have been used in a track. But the track in question was published 2 months ago. The track hasn't been republished. How come the notifications weren't issued 2 months ago?
