self explanatory i hope.
It would be nice to do this instead of hiding in some cases because hidden tracks still can be found and if i accidentally publish something i wanna be able to take it down without deleting it

I'd like this to be an option too, even if I never end up using it.
You can hide the track from your page by toggling the "eye" icon. The eye icon should then have a slash on it, meaning that the track is now hidden.
"hidden tracks still can be found"
And if you DON'T want them to be found, this should be an option. Moderators have the power to unpublish drafts, so why should you be restricted from doing it to your own drafts?
holy shit this is a good idea
I would like this
Yeah. I wanted to download an unpublished draft, but that didn't work, so then I thought I could download it and unpublish it afterward. Apparently you can't unpublish it without deleting it.
I would also like this
A temporary workaround is to open the published track, copy everything in it to the clipboard and then paste it to a new empty draft. Then you can delete the published track without losing the project. The downside is that you'll lose any plays, favorites, comments, etc.
Can't you just remix the track, save the remix, then delete the original?
Or heck - I'd take an "Unpublish" button to replace the "Delete", where there is no longer a delete button but simply, as you say, "Unpublish". Then there's no more running the risk of literally blowing away all the hard work you've put in (which without having read further into this, I don't understand why this is a thing.)
There is a new (but also not really new) feature in which you can download the mixdown of the timeline without publishing, in a .wav format. You need to support them on patreon in order to be able to get that ability.
