This request has been all over the place. Look it up.
You can do exactly that with the Machiniste. Try the "Pitch" knob. You can even modulate it per sequence step.
Pitch modulation is a pain but you can make it work. That said, I used it once and never did it again. One problem is that in order to modulate the pitch it slows down the sound (plays it over a longer interval to extend the wavelength) which makes each low note longer and high notes shorter. Because of the nature of modulating a sample, the higher/lower you go the worse it sounds, hence why you're better off using an instrument (synthesizer) than samples when you want to be able to raise/lower notes by intervals.
You could mix samples and synthesizers to get the best of both worlds. One setup is a Machiniste with the same sample pitched to different notes in each slot. If your melody doesn't span a huge interval, you should still get a good sound from it. Route the Machiniste's output to the audio input of the Pulverisateur and augment the samples with the Pulv's oscillators for a full, rich sound. The advantage is that you can now use the Pulv's filter, envelopes and modulation to affect the samples as well.
