Nawww, followers is probably won't of the worst way to see if you've been better at music. I'd rather see stats about comments of tracks. I have like 1k followers or whatever and not a lot of peopel comment on my tracks. I think comments shows more about community-impact.

I dont think people get enough action for this. Even the popular users only max out at about 500 favs.
Even still, it might be helpful to those who are looking to develop. It'd potentially answer questions like "What genre of music that I make gets most traction?", "How does that compare to my other genres?", "How have these changed over time?", it could even analyse all of this in respect to the entire website (of course, with a certain cutoff, we're stepping into the range of big data).
Moreover, you'd be able to see who your real audience is, which, I think, is crucial to developing your brand and even making friends possibly. 500 people may like your track, but maybe only 25 of those people truly enjoy your music and keep coming back.
This would also be an awesome feature to incentivise Patreon supporters.
was about to make a new discussion, lucky I found this. I was just wondering how many total plays I have on my acc and thought "hey, what if there was a way to track that?" I definitely think it would be a good idea to even add something as simple as a total plays/favs counter next to the profile description where the follower count is. just for curiosity's sake ;)
