some ideas for making music better

i have some ideas to add in the beta.
1: a device that makes slices for vocal chops in the audiotrack
2: a sidechain device that works without a splitter or machinist and sounds like the sidechain plugin on Fl Studio
3: a device that will make a sample sound higher
that was all my ideas ;D

so u want

  • a device that u can load in a vocal sample and it chops it up for u
  • something that is beyond my understanding
  • (depends on what u mean by higher. High pitch? octave? might wanna be a little more specific)

I think the 'sidechain thing' would be something like gross beat in FL Studio, where it has a tempo synced volume envelope that simulates sidechaining. I think this would be a fun gadget that could also be used as a trance gate/arpeggiator.

Lol you mean like Newtone? You realize that's not how vocal chops work. You can't just slice it up and expect it to do the work for you. You have to pitch it and formant it yourself XD.
Also, why would you want a sidechain plugin from when FL Studio was shit? Using sidechain compression works fine, or even though people say it's "noob-ish," volume modulation gives you better control of dynamic range. Otherwise, if you want to see pitch modulated things, check out Vulkrons "Bored to Tears" in which he pitch modulates the windows XP error noise and sets it to a Martin Garrix Background.
