Sometimes, especially when working on sound design, you want to hear only one synthesizer. Unless I am unaware, the only way to do this is to disable all the other note tracks or press the solo button on the Centroid. Having a solo button under the names of synthesizers in the timeline would save so much time, especially when working with Kobolt.

Not refuting your overall request:
But why on earth are you using the kobolt? - no aux, no fader, no meter, no EQ, can't add or remove channels...
I don't know, honestly. I don't use aux and I do EQ and mixing to individual synths as I create them; stereo is the only thing I use. I thought the Centroid didn't have stereo until I re-checked. I just joined AT a few years ago, and now that I think about it, the only reason Kobolt still exists is probably because it was made first and removing it would affect existing tracks.
Start using aux; it's a game changer.
EQ on the centroid gets used for a more time efficient workflow when tweaking the final mix a little. It's not surgical, but very broad strokes to sweeten or dull the frequencies needed across a lager bandwidth.
The solo button would still be really nice.
right-click on a cable and select cue audio source (solo) or use the cue tool (headphones icon) on the desktop view cables
I use the cue tool more than anything else for audio isolation. It works really good. Also, if you want to find the device on the desktop so you can do this, you could click its name in the device list on the left of the timeline window.
