That has been requested before. It helps the developers to comment on or like the original requests rather than duplicating them.

DOUBLICATE

I'm not necessarily sure what you mean by the first point. If you mean deleting the samples and presets, that would be a terrible idea if someone else is using the same preset. That could lead to potentially deleting other people's projects so no, I disagree with deletion UNLESS it had some kind of check for any actual usage by anyone.

Editing and updating presets, same problem. If someone else is using your presets, you might ruin their song.

The ability to hide and unhide, I suggested a few hours ago.

The ability to add covers to samples and presets, seems pretty decent if you want to categorize instruments

The last one I'm not sure what you mean by that so-

Overall, they're pretty decent suggestions but I don't agree with all.

  1. When I wrote this I meant I wanted the a sample to be removed from my account. When you delete a sample, it still shows its existence. It’s basically looks like the sample, but with a cross in the middle of it. Here is a screenshot of what I am saying: https://paste.pics/7135a875f9730d48f0692cb2e6fc03e9 I was wanting it to be removed so that I don’t have to see it anymore. Although it isn’t necessarily a big issue, it’s just a matter of preference. If there was a way to delete samples and presets without it affecting songs that are published with them in it, that would be great.

  2. Same point as from above. A way you can edit or delete a preset or sample without it affecting published songs with them in it.

  3. I didn’t know that people already suggested this. I’ll go and support your request by favoring it.

  4. I agree. This is mostly just a preference and would add a unique fun quirkiness to AudioTool.

  5. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell which presets and samples are which, just from looking at the desk top. If we were able to change the color of the Hens, Pulv and sample, it’d be much easier to locate and find the differences.

  1. Oh, that makes sense! Though, wouldn't that be a little similar to hide/unhide? :p

  2. That would be nice as long as you don't completely obliterate the preset I suppose LOL I really doubt it's possible for other songs not to be affected if you delete your presets / samples, I feel like a better idea is just making hide / unhide feature, THEN you could delete presets or samples if they are never used in any songs!

  3. No worries! Thanks :)

  4. It definitely would be, I would personally suggest categorization features along with that in some way or another.

  5. Oh yeah I support that, that'd be nice! Though I feel like they might not add that because you can colour the wires, though again, it would be cool :)

1 + 2. Hiding and unhiding means that the existence of that preset or sample is still there. All you are doing is making the preset/ sample either publicly seen or hidden away but still available. Deleting the reset or sample would make it unavailable for any users to use at all ever again, basically the same as deleting a song, unless it was already used in published songs. The preset/ sample would also not be able to be seen. I feel like users should have the choice whether they want a preset/ sample anymore. This would basically mean that you wouldn’t make the preset/ sample at all but sometimes when you are making rash decisions, you don’t always think things through. If there was a system where you could delete or edit a sample or a preset, but it remain the same on any published songs by other users, it would be very useful. It’s different from hiding and unhiding a preset/sample.

  1. Of course, no problem!

4 + 5. I hope they added, even if it’s not really necessary. I think a lot of people will enjoy this feature and it be really cool! They should also add more colors!!

1 + 2 I totally get it and that would be pretty interesting. Unless the song is rendered, I doubt it'd be possible for the song to remain audible if that makes sense though if it's already rendered then I'd suppose there's no issue!

4 + 5, they should add the whole colour wheel damn! LOL

1 + 2. I get what you’re saying now. I hope they can make it possible, because I really want this. Especially the ability to remove an a sample off of my account/make it invisible after deleting it.
4 + 5. HELL YAA >:)

1 + 2 = 3, and 4 + 5 = 9, therefore 3 × 9 = 27
