This topic isn't really a feature request, more a request to bring back a feature. Anyways, when is importing samples coming back to Audiotool? Firstly, once the new system for identification has been setup and we can scan all the samples to be uploaded. Secondly, wouldnt recommend importing songs from another DAW, highly frowned on here. Thirdly, this is not the right part of the board to spam and promote your music, try https://www.audiotool.com/board/spotlight

If you don't mind my asking (only because I've heard so little about it) how soon do you think the identification system will be in place? Audiotool has been getting a lot of great tools and features but without samples plainly for percussion and vocals (perhaps acoustic instrumentals as well) I can't hey back into it.
Nor, mind you, can I recommend it to those who may be interested because of the lack of this capability (more of a necessity than anything)
It's still being discussed, i wouldnt be able to give a set date as of yet, but we'll let you know once we get a rough idea. You can still make good music without all those samples, just takes a bit more work! :)
i agree, it's basically just for vocals from a vocal pack Milan sent me
Yeah, that's fair. At least with Space we can synthesise strings a bit more realistically. I just wanted to start using vocals and better percussion (newloops is cool, but not a very good range of samples available… also a lot of effects are required to get punchy percussion like kicks and snares)
Ollie, I am only posting songs to get feedback to further help my music production career both on FL and Audiotool. But thanks for the heads up on the identification system.
I have a suggestion: soundcloud.com is an excellent platform for sharing your songs, that are made on and outside of audiotool :)
