We have plugins like the Heinsburg, Machineste, Audiotrack, etc. But we need a sample editor in the mix. Changing around a sample in the timeline is productive, but minimal. Below are some ideas on what this sample editor can do.
- Change pitch and chop samples in the piano roll
- Edit the "head" and "tail" of the sample
- Time stretch
- Slice and chop samples
- Tool that reduces clipping and gaps
- EQ in the machine itself
- Save samples as presets, or load presets from the community
- Samples can be transferred to the Machineste with no problem
Hopefully, you read this and have some future thoughts.
- Camito
