i have a super laggy draft, so i bounce the audio if i want to hear it smoothly. i try to bounce as much as i can, but there is a 30 second restriction. i know this restriction is in place to prevent uploading entire tracks, but maybe it could be for uploading only?

Huh.. I swear that was a feature before.
Totally was, lol. I've definitely bounced entire tracks before. Must be a relatively new thing.
Then I guess the restriction must've been put in place for a reason.
More than likely when the sample debacle went down, yeah.
i'm not gonna knock them for putting it in place, but for putting it on bounced audio as well.
I personally can't think of a real reason for that specific part of it but I don't work with ze boys so.....I think before you just couldn't do it when remixing or collabing unless given permission which makes sense but yeah. Maybe it's because they want you just export it from the app? Which is something only patrons can do. Naughty thinking on my part but even if that were true I aint judging.
Actually i'm pretty sure it was when the timeline recording got added but i'm not sure.
yaaaaas
Bruh Audiotool mods, could you at least put this restriction when a user tries to upload it to AT cloud?
I'm afraid that this is likely a measure to keep people who tend to use illegal samples in check.
sure but I think the issue is restricting the bouncing of your timeline as well.
The timeline restriction is probably due to the patron benefit of downloading your tracks uncompressed. I'm pretty sure you could do it with probe too but then it got a restriction.
