Idk if we need a device, but right click submenu on an automation lane to randomize via sample and hold by current quantize value would be useful. I actually often have to manually draw in randomizations in automation lanes. My song "Sequence" is a perfect example where I manually draw in 16th note randomizations to automated pan and filter

I agree that we need something better to modulate devices, but this request was specifically for something "like the Rasselbock".
Similar idea: https://www.audiotool.com/board/feature_requests/random_automation I also support a general source of randomness that can be applied to devices or the timeline. This will probably be connected to the future audio engine.
