Tuplet is the general term. They are rhythms that divide the beat in a different number of subdivisions than permitted by the time signature. The most common are the triplet and the quintuplet: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuplet
This is a really interesting topic but I don't see how it would be implemented unless you blatantly copy that cool timeline feature in Ableton
edit: actually I guess you could have quintuplets in the snapping dropdown, that would also work
