Playback Mechanics

I’m genuinely uncertain whether or not this is a bug or a feature request… Anyhow, the play button should display a pause button whilst playing the track (and a play button whilst the track is paused). When the track is paused playback should resume at the position it was paused.
Clicking the stop button once should take the position to the blue marker if the marker isn't already there, clicking stop twice should move the blue marker and the position to the beginning of the first bar)

Yes, in a sense I suppose I'm asking for pause, but also, the point about playing at the marker would be super helpful.
I'll see if I can get anyone else on board c;

Does anyone else see this as being useful to them?

About the playback start position, you could have it both ways: if you click the play icon with the left mouse button, playback starts from the blue marker. If you click it with the middle mouse button, it starts from its current position. This would also make a pause icon unnecessary. It would remain to be decided what to do with the space bar. I really find the blue marker (green in Flash) very useful. I like that I can playback from the same position repeatedly just by clicking one icon.

Bumping this, partially because I'm curious if this is important to anyone else, and whether or not its implementation could be possible
