you have to go through so much trouble to do something as simple as changing the pitch

I find it easier being able to change pitch in the piano roll, as you can in heissen (and I'm sure others can agree)

but if there is a piano roll, it benefits everyone

for example; new users, instead of having to find out how to change pitch, they can just go up a few semitones on the piano roll
