A physical modeling synth would be a huge leap forward in expanding Audiotool's capabilities, reducing need of samples. This could lead to synthesis of things like drums and other percussive instruments, as well as lead to a whole new dimension of nuanced string and pluck sounds, possibly even into synthesizing a basic human tone. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_modelling_synthesis

This request is too wide to be implemented.
When trying to mimic real world instruments and effects one typically starts with physically modeling the instrument. But real-time requirements force you to make compromises pretty quick.
A realistic reverb is pretty easy to implement - doing this in real-time is really, really hard. Doing this in a limited environment like a browser makes this even worse.
Once we implement the modular synths you/we should be able to create some of those effects on your own. Simulating the human vocal tract is already possible to produce some vowels and voice-like sounds.
Otherwise this looks like a duplicate to other requests for realistic instruments.
I don't understand why Audiotool is still holding itself to the constrictions of a browser. It could instead be a free download thing.
Want to discuss that in https://www.audiotool.com/board/chitchat ?
sure
