This is probably a useless feature, but it would be so awesome.
The device would look much like the Eq but it would display a waveform and the knobs would control waveform synch and waveform zoom. And since it is only for visual effect, it wont accept automation.

This would be awesome!
It wouldn't necessarily be useless, if there are artists out there looking for greater inspiration from unique sources and might want to even create visual tracks like those of Jerobeam Fenderson. And it could prove to have some use in terms of visualising individual (raw) synths rather than the track as a whole
