Option to quickly get a 1:1 zoom on the desktop

I'd like an easily accessible button on the desktop or near it and an associated keyboard shortcut to instantly get a 1:1 zoom. This button could also be integrated into a graphical zoom slider. Using exclusively the mouse wheel to zoom gets tedious.

No, I didn't :) Thanks for the tip, I didn't know about it. I see that some people are complaining about zoom options not being obvious in the interface. Maybe you should recover the zoom slider from Flash.

Yes, perhaps sliders only make sense in apps where you manipulate graphics and you don't need one here. But my point is that there should be some graphical element on the interface to control zoom, instead of relying exclusively on the mouse. In Flash I use a lot the desktop menu to zoom in and out because I find it practical. It's similar to using buttons with fixed zoom scales. I'd add two more buttons: "+" and "-" to zoom in and out. I use zoom in (200%) a lot in Flash, for example to move the mix control inside a merger with very small increments. This control doesn't respond to Crtl or Shift+Crtl and often I need to set the proportion of two combined signals very precisely.

Just saw the buttons. They are very practical, thanks! Just one little detail: both buttons (+ and -) have the tool tip "Zoom In". - should be "Zoom Out".
