⚠ Notification Filters ⚠

Issue

I have followed a ton of people recently and then suddenly my notifications got flooded. Say I wanted to see only notifications regarding favorites and comments on my stuff but can't find it in the favorites, comments, (re)publishing, and stuff that flooded my notifications. Also, if I want to see only comments, there should be a filter for that too.

Fix

My suggestion is to have a dual-filter, where you can checkbox notifications regarding certain people (including a checkbox for the user that is doing the search), with an additional list of checkboxes regarding comments, favorites, (re)publishings of songs, changes to albums, etc.

Benefits

If this were implemented, people would be able to look through and prioritize their notifications easier and respond to things that might be important, rather than having to look through the whole notifications list. This would especially be helpful for those who have lots of songs and albums, and people who have a lot of people they follow.

Consequences

I understand that things like this will take a long time. I am a programmer, and I mainly build websites for fun and for keeping information, as well as to use as free utilities, and I have spent maybe a week on different things at a time. Also, I know there is bound to be bugs and such with notification filters, because when something new is added or created then it will almost always be filled with bugs.

Priority

I don't want to rush the developers, I just want to let them know that there is something that may need to be done. There is no deadline for this, as I understand that the developers may be working on something more important and could probably have no time to finish it before any deadlines that are set up. I would, however, recommend this to be implemented by 10 June 2023 assuming that the developers do have their hands free, and maybe by the year 2024 if possible.

Indeed, but I meant like a quick search that only lasts for the moment the user uses it for. It should be so that the user doesn't have to go into their settings and mess with stuff only to undo the stuff, which would be cumbersome to be honest.
