It would be incredibly useful and not particularly hard to implement. A single press on the up arrow key pitches the note up one semitone, right arrow shifts note to the right, down pitches it down a semitone, left shifts it down a semitone. It could even be possible to change note length for example, shift and left/right arrow key moves the end of the note left/right, changing the length, control + left/right moves the start of the note, allowing us to edit note lengths and pitches without having to fiddle about with a mouse or touchpad.
