As the title says really, it would be pretty nifty to be able to see the db of the signal on the I/O, it would make compressing so much easier having a visual aid (aside from bouncing the compressed signal and comparing the waveform of the dry signal), so you can really see if the compression is making a big difference or not. There is the option of visually seeing the db level on the peak metre on the bottom, I'm uncertain if that's what you mean though
