I think that this has been suggested before, but as I can't find a topic that covers it, here it goes: the ability to import an existing project into the current one, thus merging both. Everything in the imported project except obviously the Master Output would be added to the current one. Any device/region/tracks/etc. naming conflicts would be resolved. The relative positions of the devices in the imported arrangement would be kept but the whole thing displaced so as not to collide with the current one. The tracks of the imported project would just be added below the existing ones.

When copying a device from a project to another, the timeline is also copied, making it pretty much a merging if you select everything.
How do you copy devices from one project to another?
(1) Select the device(s) in project A with the select tool (shortcut 2) press ctrl+C : a message saying "plugin(s) copied to clipboard" appears.
(2) Go to dashboard, open project B
(3) Be sure to be in the desktop workplace, press ctrl+V : a message saying "plugin(s) pasted" appears.
Also works with both projects open in different tabs.
Strange, this doesn't seem to work for me. I don't see any message after selecting and copying to the clipboard and nothing happens when I paste on the other project. I'm on Linux Ubuntu and Chrome 63.0.3239.84 64 bits.

Yes, thanks!
Actually I was mistaken, I remembered doing it with 2 tabs but I was wrong. Sorry /=
