Local usage of samples before uploading

When I used new samples when the Flash app was still around, I would often try multiple samples to find the one that fit best in the mix. This involved creating a sample, tweaking it until it worked, and uploading the final version of the sample. This is no longer possible in Next, as samples have to be uploaded first to be used. Currently, uploading and deleting samples doesn't work as an alternative because when samples are removed from a draft, the user assets page still shows them as being used, and any crossed-out deleted samples still clutter the assets page. Request for the feature to use samples in a track before uploading them.

With the autosaving feature of Next, this may present a problem, so a solution might be to remove samples that haven't been uploaded yet the moment the user leaves the Audiotool session. Perhaps disallow (re)publishing while local samples still exist in the draft.
