In Flash, when clicking the time-line icon to hide the time-line, the time-line overview would still be left visible on the lower edge of the interface. This was useful while working on the desktop and playing back the arrangement, to have an idea of which part of the track and what regions were playing. In Next, when working in desktop-only mode, the time-line overview is hidden as well. So when playing back, there is no hint about what part of the track is playing except for the bar/beat - minute/second counter on the transport. I think that this is insufficient and that a visual hint of the current playback position on the arrangement with respect to the time-line should be visible at all times.
