It would be great to have a keyboard shortcut, say, "L", to toggle the loop function in the transport on and off. Also, "M" could be used to toggle the metronome on and off (it wouldn't interfere with the region mute keyboard shortcut as long as pointer focus is on the desktop. I find myself toggling those functions quite often.
