When patching a device into a cable that has been cued (solo), it would be convenient if the solo state would be inherited by the new cable connected to the output of the patched device.
Example:
- A cable connecting a synth to a mixer input is cued.
- A delay pedal is patched on the cued cable above.
- After patching, the new cable connecting the output of the delay pedal to the mixer input is cued.
