Karplus-Strong Guitar Synth

I've heard that as of almost 10 years ago, a guitar synth using the Karplus-Strong algorithm was being worked on for AT, and was ported to HTML5 (separate from the first, flash version) in 2015, I was wondering if it was dropped, and if it was, if it could be picked back up and put into AT as a synth or something similar to the matrix in a way. If you wish to learn more, this is a good resource and links to the original flash version. It could potentially be a modified Heisenberg setup, with the waveform selection kept, and most other modifiers changed to more relevant modifiers such as the ones shown here: ( https://ibb.co/x6gs70b ), and possibly a lightweight version with only the modifiers.
