I remember a topic about this, but I can't find it. It would be great to be able to collapse or expand different collections of items on the interface to make it easier to maintain an overview and move quickly to whatever needs to be worked on. Two places where this would be useful would be the time-line (collapse or expand devices' tracks as needed) and the devices panel (collapse or expand families or devices), especially since so many new devices are being added to it.

@apollo It's somehow related, especially the last one (I wasn't thinking about the desktop), but I'm talking more about hiding or exposing things instead of grouping. I remember a post (different from those ones) where someone was complaining about having to scroll across a huge time-line with lots of stacked tracks. I also sometimes find myself in this situation, hunting for a device somewhere in the list, and I'd love to be able to just collapse everything and concentrate in the tracks of the device I need to work on at one time. In the same post or another one, there was also the idea of being able to apply a sorting order for the devices and tracks on the time-line.
Posted on wrong board.
Bumping this. I haven't found a faster way to copy or move a region from one track to another than dragging it. If you're working on a draft with lots of devices and a huge timeline, the drag can take a long time. I wish I had a little triangle next to the device name on the right that would allow me to collapse their tracks. Either that, or the ability to copy/cut and paste in the timeline, which as far as I know can't be done yet.
Yes please, this
