I think he means to be able to hide albums as well.
I kinda thought of this idea as well, but didn't know how practical it might be
I want to be able to hide albums, just like I can hide my tracks. Because when I hide tracks ppl can still see them in my albums, and the only other choice is to delete my albums.
Ill post this on my wall to see if anyone else is interested.
i want it
you have a point
yes Im still interested, becuase say you wanted to sorta start new... sorta like I did, I use to be Nerd Fryz im now Aesthetic. I want to be able to hide everything on my profile so I can present my new music. I dont mind ppl finding my old tracks of albums once in awhile.
If I were to make a new account I wouldnt to be able to finish collabs, or finish tracks ive started. And Yeah I think an Unpublish button on tracks and albums would be great, for everyone!
Is anyone else interested in this??? It would be VERY helpful.
Personally, I'm a little confused...
Is unpublishing the same as deleting...? Lol.
And I don't see the benefit of this in the long run...
A better implementation would be the https://www.audiotool.com/board/feature_requests-eGRGOKR3F/ability_to_preview
Download and use them how you like, privately
or better yet, private tracks, like how it's implemented on SoundCloud, with a special extension to access though the link
I think that better fits what you're looking for
No its not the same, what I mean is say you pubbed a track/album already but you wanna Unpublish it but you dont wanna delete it, because hiding your track doesnt do anything cuz ppl can still find it.
Hiding tracks keep them for showing up on your profile, which I find helpful for collabs you mightn't want to appear on your profile but you still contributed to, or even ones you didn't contribute to but you're still a co-author of.
A better idea would be to have private tracks (the idea of "unpublishing" is a bit strange because it sounds so synonymous to deleting.) This would let you add a special extension to the end of the track url (i.e. audiotool.com/track/untitled/sDxKs, or something of that nature) to keep people other than you, that has the special link, to reach it
Now that makes wayyyy more sense :)
