Explicit saving on top of autosave should be a feature for draft security. Autosave secures changes even in the event of a crash. As a result, making edits, having Next crash, and being unable to undo them is as dangerous as losing edits in Flash. I suggest keeping the most recent explicit save as Flash does, in the case that an autosaved version is unwanted and the user wants to roll back.

A revision history type of thing would be great.
This will come, soon. We do save each atomic change done to a track, but there is currently no UI to step through these changes.
In the meantime, you could create bookmarks when you are unsure about which direction to take in a track: https://www.audiotool.com/board/what_s_new/bookmarks
Saving from bookmark fails. Will file bug report.
Re-Open the draft and try again?
Still fails. On saving the local draft or trying to edit properties, guru meditation occurs after evaluating licenses.
