Drive Helmholtz with note regions

Right now, to change the value of the Note controls in the Helmholtz requires automation. It would be great if these controls could take values dynamically from notes in the timeline (either a timeline track and/or a Note In connector). This would allow to program chord sequences into it easily. The device could assign each note, starting with the lowest, to each resonator, starting with 1. With more simultaneous notes than resonators, extra notes would be ignored. With less simultaneous notes than resonators, extra resonators would keep their current values.

I really like the Helmholtz resonance effect. But I'm applying it to a loop and make it follow progressions of four note chords throughout a track and the automation is huge. Since the values for the Note controls are notes anyway, what about dropping the automation (which seems inefficient in this case) and make it just follow notes, like the device you propose?
