Could there be a DM option? Most sites have them. Like where you can opt to have only "friends" (maybe people who you follow and who follow you back) be allowed to DM you. Sometimes, the public chats get annoying. Especially if you're sharing a draft with someone and you don't want the whole world to know and butt in on your conversation with somebody.
