Dedicated Notepad

Hi! I feel that a dedicated notepad in Audiotool where you can jot down anything regarding the track you're working on will be useful to many artists in the AT community.

Audiotool has become a more accessible place for collaborations, so writing down plans, ideas, and critiques on a simple word processor would create a more productive and straightforward song making process. Even for solo artists, they would also be a great help.

It's kind of like Garageband - the notepad is accessible by a button, and there's not a lot of formatting options, so there'll be less memory taken up.

I hope this idea will be useful to the developers of Audiotool :D

Maybe 5K? It would be okay to just have one collaborator at a time, but I think indicating who is editing the notepad would be good also.

Thank you for consideration!

We could lock the notepad/scratchpad while someone has a focus on it. If there was inactivity for n seconds, we remove the focus and save the changes.
That's a poor man's workaround for concurrent edits which should be ok in practice.

I agree 100% about this

Lmao, why 5k characters? Even AT comment is around 2K. For JUST notes, 150 chars would be fine.

This would be useful when writing a rap script with my collaboration
