I think it'd be cool to have an on/off toggle for a dark theme for all of the effects, more specifically for the effects that are white. EQ, Exciter, Helmhholz. Nothing for the synths, since the synths have their colors for a reason. But maybe a way to retexture the synths even, with their own unique colors. OR - Right clicking the effects will give you a color pallet like you can do with the wires and note tracks. Just an idea I thought I'd share. I don't think it'd be too hard to implement, but I am also not a coder :p

With that said, making devices a bit higher res is also a good idea. Some text can be too difficult to read considering they're squished together and blurry. This can be seen in the Machiniste and the Centroid for example. Apart from that, I'd say I like this idea! There's a lot of room for workspace customizability and I'd love to see more of that at some point on Audiotool! :)
