When a topic applies to two or more categories, a user must choose only one. This is inconvenient, when you want people on both categories to respond. Currently, cross-posting is not allowed, and I think filters and limits on topics for each post can enable cross-category topics.

Can you describe an example of a topic that should be posted in more than one category?
An example is a next track that a user wants advice on, with mastering. The topic would be production - mastering, and beta - general.

@andremichelle Yes, it was rhetorical. Sometimes making questions is a good way to help someone see a point.
@inspiration1738 In your example, I don't see the need to post to Beta - General. The question deals with mastering and, even if it's a Next track, mastering concepts can usually be applied in any DAW. As André said, having a discussion in different places would be hard. Also, sticking to one category helps keep questions and comments to the point.
