Every time that the 2D slider at the centre of the Merger and Splitter devices is moved, two events are logged in history: one for the U component of the move and one for the V component. This causes the movement of the slider to be "broken down" in two moves when undoing the history. I think this is confusing. I suggest creating a single event containing both components (U and V) for the move. This would have two advantages: 1) Undoing and redoing this action would feel consistent with what the user actually did on the interface. 2) Auditioning changes in the sound due to the move by undoing and redoing would be possible without intermediate, undesired steps.
