Changing duration to less than 8 bars

I used to be able to drag the slider bar to less that 8 bars to make little melodies and tracks but I'm not able to anymore. Is there a way to change that setting back?

Can't reproduce this. Do you mean the loop bar on the timeline or overview window above it?

Im sorry. I meant the thing at the end of the timeline that you use to control the length of the song. like the white thing

Ah, got it. I think that the 8 bar restriction was added when the Flash app was phased out. As far as I know, you can't change it.

ah dang. Should I submit a feature request then?

You can do that, but I doubt that it would get accepted. I think that the limit was in fact introduced to avoid very short tracks being published. Anyway, if you change the time signature to 16/4, you can get the track end marker down to 2 bars ;)

I even think 8 bars is way shorter than anything I'd like to see published. But as there will never be a "right" minimum length we could as well remove that arbitrary bound. (I guess 1 bar would be the technical limit)
