When hovering a device name on the desktop view (below the device's lower edge), the "Double-click to change name" hint appears in a tool-tip. I'd rather display the full name of the device. This would be useful to quickly check long device names that get truncated in the desktop view. Now, the only way to check the full device name is to double-click and move the cursor to the right end of the text field. I'd also add a full device name tool-tip to the device list in the timeline. Right now the device list doesn't have any tool-tip, not even the "Double-click..." hint. Of course, the double-click device rename functionality would be unaffected by this change.
