i've tried multiple ways to get a close to a brickwall lowpass at 16kHz on my master but it's all shitty compared to when i actually brickwall lowpass in another daw. it comes out as i would describe "cardboard boxy". this is because i need a sharp cut to retain energy and not a soft one cutting some of the frequencies before 16kHz. i really really feel the need to have a brickwall lowpass now more than ever. i have 0 clue what brickwall highpass could be used for that is completely against me but i figured we could have that too just for the sake of being thorough. i dont know if this would get added as an order to curve or a new eq but i hope this gets added

you have no idea
if i had one, this would definitely go on my must haves list, but internet rule 62. It has been cracked and pirated. No exceptions.
i've now officially gotten as close as possible to this, and i'd give it 99% accuracy.
i'll drop this request. for anyone interested, look up the curve preset "Lowpass 16k V21"
A brickwall filter is impossible to implement on a non-periodic signal (e.g. music).
Also I don't see a need other than technical reasons.
Just add enough 36 dB/oct filters until it's brickwall-ish enough for your needs. Remember that this will mess with your phases.
it's what i, no, we do
more like 90%. It gets rid of some high end.
just curious, but what is a brickwall filter exactly?
a brickwall lowpass lets absolutely no frequencies past its setting
makes sense.
Use quantum, set the last bar to 16000kHZ and click mute?
