If you are unaware there is a browser out there called "Brave" which encourages an ad-free experience on the web with their built-in ad blocker. (And, to my understanding, it is built on the Chromium browser so it should be compatible with Audiotol and the booster.) Instead, Brave allows users to support developers directly through their platform: Brave Payments ( you can find more information on it here: https://brave.com/features/ )
I make note of this because Audiotool already is an ad-free experience. By extension, for those who may want an alternative platform to Patreon, Brave may be a great solution, offering even more support to the developers here.

There are many webkit-compatible browsers out there, but every browser we additionally support comes with slightly different behaviours and web-apis capabilities. For now, we will focus on the main players: Chrome and Firefox. When we are able to rely on a bigger development team, we will open up for other browsers as well.
Fair enough, I completely understand, especially with a small team. I just thought since they're built on Chromium, it may be simple to integrate, and provide yet another way to monetarily support development... Just something to consider in the future.
I suggest to re-visit this idea once the new engine is ready and we know what feature set is ultimately needed to run the app. Maybe it pays itself off.
I'd currently focus on staying compatible with Firefox to not be completely dependent on Google.
