You cant put it in name or wall
I am 50/50 on this suggestion 😬 It's not a bad one but I don't know how it would work out.
Plain text with no emoji support is easier to store. If it contained only necessary characters for each language on Earth, it'll be lighter than UTF8 and UTF16 (popular unicode text formats used in webpages). The inclusion of emojis, symbols, expanded whitespace, etc. would increase the number of bits needed to represent each character, thus making the servers have to store more information. Because of all of the text exchanges that happen in this site, even the smallest increase in bits (even just by 1 bit) would force the servers to store a lot more information. I am for the inclusion of emojis, but it is worth it to consider the cons. Emojis would make it easier to express ourselves and show how we feel without having to type up long explanations. It is unknown whether the pros outweigh the cons though. This will require further discussion from the community and perhaps (if actually needed) the devs.
For the name I would assume they wouldn't include emojis for the sake of searching usernames. However, considering that you can just use the @ handle, then I don't see an issue with the emojis being in names (albeit I feel like people would abuse it one way or another)
As for the walls.. I can post emojis on my wall just fine. Not sure.
