what if when someone right clicked the a selection of notes from a chord, an option called "transpose..." appeared and it led to another window that had the options of semitones (up 12 semitones, down 12 semitones, etc...)?
i think that would be cool.

I still second this. It would be preferable to moving notes with the cursor if the window would offer set intervals (2nd, minor 3rd, major 3rd and so on) so that you don't have to figure them out or manually correct notes in the wrong interval afterwards.
