AUTOMATIC DRAFT SAVE

crossroads · started 2024-09-26 14:49 · updated 2024-09-30 21:08

We need a feature in the settings that allows us to either download the files that audiotool uses to store draft information or make it so it automatically saves it somewhere else than your cookies so you don't accidentally delete drafts

Dude just use the save button. It's not that hard. You don't even have to put a title, image, tags, or description. Although I do recommend at least just a title so that you can identify it later when you go to open it.

audiotool tends to not let you save stuff.
I left my computer for 2 hours and it refused to save an unsaved draft. Reloaded it several times.

That's very likely a bug in the system.

adding a feature like this would safeguard against instances where you delete your cookies and unsaved drafts disappear, as well as make it so you can open the drafts on the offline version of audiotool (if it comes)

once you save the initial draft auto save is on
just save it as soon as you start a new draft and nothing will be lost

So that's where all my unsaved drafts went....
