Er--- I'm getting tired and there's not much I can add to the description that isn't the title...
I do, however, understand that this might be particularly precarious, as the timeline provides visual cues to the time signature. To counter this issue, I'd propose making the timeline divisible. So, if the time signature changes from 4/4 to 6/8 at bar 32.0.0.1, the visuals will correspondingly change at that point. Also, this could be added to the global tracks region of the timeline for consistency with BPM automation.

I did search for duplicates for this one, but I didn't understand what they meant so I posted it.
Should I remove it?
Closed other topics as duplicates because this one contains the best explanation IMO.
Bumping this. Being able to change the time signature from one bar to the next would be great.
I beg of thee

I initially thought that this was a BPM thing, but it turns out that is a Time Signature thing... silly me.
I approve this.
This would benefit those who want to make progressive rock-inspired tracks that have time signature changes within them. (to see what I mean, take a listen to Yes' Close to the Edge or Camel's Supertwister).
Exactly. Another great example is "Goliath" from Karnivool. It uses 7/4+7/4+7/4+6/4.
Poly rhythm is something else. This is rather compound meter.
This has been on my audiotool wishlist for years
I believe Time-Signature change is (mostly) a UI feature (except for maybe synced-LFO)... In any case, more research needs to be done... This is how Reaper does it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdMYDUtllCw
Not sure how they deal with time-synced LFOs
