Two distinct but related requests:
(1) Considering that the timestretching takes time, and that the silenced sample can be missinterpreted as a bug, it would be nice to have a display of the % progress on the sample, or at least a notice "stretching in progress".
(2) To allow very long stretching, or high definition timestretch, it would be nice to add a third stretching option using the paulstretch algorithm.

Cool for (1)! For (2) I understand that, i just think it would be helpful to have this feature implemented. Right now, for really long stretching I have to rely on Audacity, which requires to download the sample then reupload it. The paulstretch could be implemented as a stretch % setting on the sample, with a freeze of the app while it's processing the sample. Not with timeline dots like we have right now. More like a global stretch... if that makes sense.
