Being able to place markers with customisable names such as 'intro', 'chorus', or 'breakdown' above the timeline (perhaps near the tempo automation track so they can be hidden/unhidden) would make it easier to outline song structures in collaborations and to also keep track of your own ideas. Additionally, it would benefit users looking to learn from projects by remixing them, as projects would be easier to understand for them if the original creators used such markers.

I never really understood why markers are even a thing in ableton or logic since they aren't that helpful. usually you just take mental notes, or tell someone if it's needed.
